Alumode Windows

When Bob Madani of Alumode Windows Pty Ltd started his business in 1990 he could not possible imagine where his company would be today. Bob has recently moved and increased the size of his operations from the south west of Sydney to larger premises and a more central location in western Sydney at Wetherill Park.

As part of this move Bob was also looking to the future of his business and decided to introduce some automation to his operations in order to smooth the flow of finished elements to the assembly area with elements easily identifiable downstream from the processing operation (post sawing and machining). Elumatec offered possible solutions after talking with Bob about his visions and his goals. This would entail the introduction into the factory of a DG104 Double Mitre Saw and an SBZ 122 Machining Centre from the elumatec range and also include the support of a Bill Of Material (B.O.M.) solution from Orgadata with the preferred System Supplier.

Bob was very happy with this solution and proceeded to go ahead with its implementation.

Bob decided the best way to achieved this outcome was to purchase the elumatec DG 104 E580/1 6 meter length saw (with label printer) coupled with the elumatec SBZ 122/54 6.7meter two zone CNC machining centre (with barcode scanner) matched with the Logikal office program from Orgadata Australia via elucad plus the very flexible elumatec EP124 Corner Crimper.

The approach by Bob and his team has been a holistic one with the combination of hardware technology from elumatec Australia and the software solution from Orgadata Australia. Bob found that he could program in his office via Logikal and then send his operations for the saw and CNC via elucad directly to have a seamless solution to his operational requirements. Under Bob’s ever careful introduction, the production team have also taken to the new machinery with a great deal of enthusiasm and have readily embraced the technology due to its ease of use.

Though Bob had more space in his new factory he was still limited in the new factory due to new projects. However with elumatec Australia’s extensive knowledge in tight factory installations they were able to suggest the best layout for Bob by placing the SBZ 122/54 under his mezzanine floor to gain the best use of his factory space, this has worked very well into the flow of the factory without adding to wasted floor space, which is at a premium. In Bob’s own words “I love these machines, it is the best thing I have done and I have been very happy with the professional way that it has been handle by elumatec Australia”

We at elumatec Australia are very confident that this small but enthusiastic company will show others in the market place that investing in the correct solution can pay hansom dividends long term.

Elumatec Australia with Orgadata Australia would like to wish Bob and all at Alumode all the best success for the future.
